...and they were ridiculous.
He didn't say they never made them - just that a V6 SS was ridiculous - I tend to agree and probably why Holden didn't continue to offer V6 as an option on the SS range
The VP was only for a racing class ... the supercharged one, though, yeah ...

The new top model will be called VXR. Will be a V6 AWD in our market with a 9 speed auto.

Hope they don't price it like the current VXR or it will simply not sell. SV6 has always been under $40k drive away so they need to keep the V6 version as close as possible to this.

I imagine the new VXR is will $60k plus.

The SV6 will be replaced with an equivalent 4 cylinder model which might be around $40k.

Is it a given that the VXR will only be the n/a V6?
I expected it to be a turbo 4cyl, possibly with more stonk than the ~235kW they're claiming for the V6.

At least they are retiring the SS badge.... they really should retire the commodore name too for now.

I think the insignia will go the way of the Epica and Malibu.

And the VXR AWD model most probably will be priced more than a SV6...
