Holden ve sv6 sidi extractors

Hey everyone I was wondering can you put extractors on a 2010 sv6 sidi series 2 or even the 2011 model someone was telling me you can't because holden has done something and made the extractors so you can't change them?

Series 2 lfx I don't think you can, they are moulded into engine or something like that. If you open up bonnet you will be able to see. Just not sure if it was with all of the series 2's. But you can do most other things atleast, Otr, cats, exhaust, cams.

Umm actually, I have an SV6 3.6 ltr SIDI series 2 2011 model. It has extractors. I think you may be thinking of the 3.0 ltr SIDI engine found in Omega's, Internationals etc, they have the headers as part of the heads

Series I SIDI 3.6 and Early Series Series II SIDI 3.6 (MY10) have the LLT engine which is non integrated 3 port headers.
MY11 and beyond all SIDI 3.6 have LFX engines with integrated headers, they're also all E85 flex enabled. Therefore these can not have extractors added.
Easily identified by badges, if its got E85 flex fuel then no extractors for that one.

Yeah that one ha ha, I knew about the 3 L one not being able to have extractors. Just wasn't 100% on what series 2 had the integrated headers

The first year of Series 2 where model MY11 which did have the LLT, which can take extractors, it's MY12 and beyond that have LFX which can't take extractors.
