What are the differences between T/C and ESP?
My '05 Acclaim has ESP.

Yep as far as I know only the VZ Acclaim Sedan had ESC.

Traction control is obviously a loss of traction at the rear wheels.
Electronic Stability Control applies the brakes during loss of steering to help correct the car.

All the VZ models have the ESP button, but not the TC. My 05 Calais also has ESP but no traction button.

ESP electronic stability program; it works in conjunction wit the abs and tcs esp improves driving stability in any situation the ESP processes the information and alters the engine power and/or applies the brakes on specific wheels as required.
