honda civic 2010 shaky at idle? this normal?

mate of mine has a 2010 honda civic fully stock, 1.8l auto, when in drive it shakes the steering wheel and half the car until you rev it up a bit. is this normal? ive looked at it but not familiar with them cars, it goes fine, but does shake a bit at idle.

maybe an engine mount? if you look at this, the circled part, the metal part of the engine looks very close to the metal part of the mount, should it be this close? about a few pieces of paper gap there.
