horn location

Can any body tell me where the horn is located on a vt

Up behind the front bumper on the driver's side. You can get at it without removing the bumper.

Sometimes there is also one adjacent the Brake Booster,
between the Firewall & Right Tower.
That's if its a Twin Horn Setup.

I think you will find that is the horn for the alarm in higher end models, Calais, Statesman, Caprice (maybe Berlina)
If it is a twin horn system the other horn will be in the same place but on the passenger's side.

Our Acclaim has the two horns, the one up on the firewall is for the alarm and the other for the Kangaroo's.

If you don't have a horn on the left side behind the bumper (reserved for higher end models),
You might find that there is a single wire, with a small plug on it.
If there is and probably will be, you'll most likely find that there is power (+12v) going to it.
Found that out on my Executive based VT SS.
