Hot earths on LS1 powered commodores dose anyone know anything about them i have seen a few tough commodores with them i was wondering if anyone new anything about them or has one on there commodore...any info would be great worth spending the $50 or so on wire for the earth...Cheers

I made my own up with 8mm gauge wire.Imrovements were for myself very good for the outlay.

-Brighter lights
-Better start
-.2volts increase to 14.1 at charging

Performance was not noted due to another mod done at the same time.

basically helps lower the resistance in the electrical system to give better current flow which in return helps give better start up, brighter lights, helps stereo systems run better and is meant to help with idle and also fuel consumption.

to run a hot earth system you can diy by running 4awg wire directly from battery neg to things like heads, chassis, starter motor, alternator, exhaust etc.

im gonna run my own when i get a chance.
