how can i find out if diff is gu5 or vl

this is all good info but the thing is how can u tell if it is a vk gu5 bw or vl bw diff.

vb-vk didnt come out with a 3.45 ratio.

we know but you can swap diff's and this is why i started this as it looks like my vk has a vl diff.
