Hey, I'm in the process of painting and fitting an SS kit to my VP wagon, got no issues getting the rear bar off, but the front I have no idea.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah its fair easy...

There is a few ways...

Theres the retarded way which EVERYONE will tell you to do for some reason which involves like 8 nuts or some **** to take the bar off the reo bar... **** that.

grab a 19mm socket, slide under the car, undo the rear reo bar bolts(adjusters), undo the front reo bar bolts(fixture)... slide bar + reo off.... literally a 2 minute job.

The reo bolts are near the sway bar mounts on the car.

Depending on the car it may have 2 screws holding the rear of the bar to the wheel arch. (may)

aZk.

4 bolts hold it on, on the out side of the chasis rail 2 each side. Take your grill off 3 screws first. when all 4 bolts are out the bar slides forwards. Watch for the corners kicking up and scratching the mudgaurds. 5 min job.

Cheers guys.

The only reason I asked is I thought it's probably going to be easier to fit the ss lip to the bar when it's off the car, and it's fairly slammed.

Thanks again.

lol, who the **** removes the bumper from the reo! I've never ever seen that done :p

God have mercy on the individual who tries that. I have enough trouble separating the two off the car, let alone on it! :p

i agree with u morton!!
why undo it from the reo????
its easier to undo 4 bolts on the chassis and then slide the whole bar of in one!!!
if u cant do it that way, why even try and do it yourself the long and hard way!!!
