how do you remove vl Calais arm rest plastic clips

how do you remove vl Calais arm rest plastic clips, the ones that are on the actual arm that go into the hole inside the door. (they are off the door trim, i need to get the plastic lugs off)
i need to get them off with out damaging them, its got me stumped!

Undo the two screws under the main part of the armrest then slowly wiggle/rotate the whole armrest until it just falls out of the door trim.
Then slide the black plastic end pieces off.

their off the door trim, i need to get the plastic clip off the arm of the series 2 arm rest lol.

Oh, the white plastic part? Never needed to remove them before.
