no not at all thats how they burn to the ground LOL fit new orings top and bottom should see it right

cant see it being anything else its coming off quite a few injectors theres no oil leakage anywhere.

i think ive got a lemon friday arvo engine
been looking after this one, and still dud things are starting to pop up everywhere
Theres even strange heat soak marks on the timing gears which I cant explain. not good :~

the silicon they used... overdoing it so it runs down the inside of the engine...????

all in all still running smoothly and nicely apart from a posible lifter gone but for how much longer???

I bought her used from a holden dealer in may at 31000km, now done 38000km.

anyone have a tech manual to fix the lifter ? are they adjustable?
