HOW THE $%#@, do i get my diff centre out??

hey guys.. im trying to get my diffcentre out..

it's IRS..

i have removed the whole housing from the car, also removed axles.

but it's stillin there tight as ****...




some one would have to know how to changediff gears on an IRS??... it's nt listed in the "how to's"

Haha can't help you out but is this why I didn't get a call yesterday?

did you undo the pinion and remove the flange so the whole shaft can move in when the centre comes out if not youll need brute force to get the thing out

HAHA so sorrah mate thats why... and finally got my tools back hahah....it'll be out tonight hopefully?...you keen on it? i got other buyers if you not?

delco...what flange are we talking bout??..... i will undo the pinion, then what do i do??

the flange the driveshaft connects too.once that big nut and flange is off it should all slide out together

Not sure now talked to a mechanic and he says that the centres are different for IRS to Live axle...

Does anyone know if the centres are interchangeable?

in short, ALL BW78 diff centres are interchangable...
i was going to do it with my car (i have made heaps of threads about this) but cbf now..
