hay guys, im just gonna give a quik tutorial on removing the centre console and the doors, just incase anyone wants a fair idea for future endeavours.
CENTRE CONSOLE
(1) the centre console is very basic, mostly made up of a clip system. Firstly open the lid on the storage compartent at the ass end of the centre console. Down the bottom there SHOULD be a piece of carpet, remove this. And you should find 2 phillips pan head screws, undo them, if there not there then don't worry to much.

(2) the centre part of the console around the gear stick, (not too shure about a manual as i have an auto, i assume it would be similar if not easier.) take out the ash tray to the left of the gear stick, pop the lid and pull up, which should give you a veiw of inside. Next put your hand in and grab a grip, this centre piece is an independent unit and should pop right out with ease. Unplug the cigarette lighter and manouvre it over the gear stick.

(3) underneath the centre pannel we've just removed, there should be a white panel surrounding the gear stick (if auto), remove the light from underneath, the one that illuminates your gear selection pannel. there should should be a small connection piece at the top of this white pannel (see image) and it should pop out. slide the white pannel down towards the back of the vehicle and free from the gear stick. You may have to move your gears forward or back to manouvre around certain items, but mainly the centre console itself.

(4) There should be nothing in the way now. Lift the centre console from the back, near the storage compartment where the screws were removed, lift until the front clips pop off and the whole piece should be free now, move the gear stick into first gear (for autos) and pull the console towars the rear of the car making sure the handbrake boot is unzipped. And remove the centre console up off the middle paying attention not to catch on the handbrake or gear stick. Installation is the opposite action of taking it out, but please be patient unlike myself haha.

DOORS (please get someone to help with exercise)
(1) I recomend taking off the front quater pannel for ease of this excercise, but if you don't feel like it by all means leave it, it just makes life a bit more difficult. Have a look down the crevice of the door, and you'll see 2 large hinges with pins through them, and a smaller extension piece to stop the door opening to far... and slamming on your hand which i found out. Find adequate tools. Personally i used a hammer, 3 sets of different sized pliers, an 8 mm dynabolt, a 9 inch nail, and 150mm x 12mm coach bolt. You don't need these exact tools but it is recommended. Ecspecially the hammer and pliers.
(2) remove all the black caps covering the pins, they just pop of. you may need a flat head screw driver to remove the smaller ones though. Alright WD40 CRC WATER DISPERSANT ALL OF THEM! SOAK THEM! Go have a smoke or a drink and repeat this, more you do the easier your life will be. Alright done? good, Next remove the middle pin holding the door extension piece, this is easy, hit it with a hammer upwards and shes yours.

(3) Now with a tool you've chosen, i used a nine inch nail for this, but use wateva suits you, (the top pin comes out the bottom and the bottom pin comes out upwards. so for this were removing the bottom pin, also i recommend jacking it up to get a good swing on the hammer) use your bolt or nail to hit it from the under side and get it up as far as possible, find a small bolt smaller then the hole (8mm dynabolt with casing removed is what i used) and hit the edge of the pin on an angle up into the hinge as far as possible. Next grab your pliers and wrap them around the top half ad hard as possible, and get your partner to strike the pliers with a hammer upwards, start with a tap and get harder if isn't working, also ensure your partner has his other hand on the door. And your pin should slide out... eventually. Persistence and wd40 is the key with this. If you cannot budge it, try hitting the top side in further, and hitting it back up with a bolt, just to get it moving.

(4) Installation is a hell of alot easier. Bang in your brand spankin new pins, to the first joint so your door can slot in. With your partners help line the door up and bang the pins in, because the pins are so tight, you dont need to align the door, you just need to get it in the right spot. :dance: have fun guys n while your at it why not freshen up your front quater pannels like i have. Have fun and if there are any more questions or things i havent covered just ask.
