How to identify a VL Turbo 5 speed manual gearbox?

Hi there all, is there any way to identify a vl turbo 5 speed manual gear box?
eg> serial numbers etc......

other than MX7 for turbo. and
MF5 non turbo australia ME7 non turbo new zealand

The mx7 is big. Thats basically the only easy difference so far as i know. The mx7 (turbo box) will pretty much fill up the entire tunnel. The mf5 will leave a fair bit of space around itself. Post a pic?

so if i was to be buying a 88 vl calais turbo how would i know it has the right gear box?

you can check the VIN number to see if its a genuine calais turbo the first 7 letters WOULD go like this
8 X 19 8 H

8= standered code
X= calais
19= sedan
8= 3.0ET (turbo)
H= 1988

if its a genuine turbo 5 speed it would say TRANS.MX7 on one of the compliance plates

now to check the actual gearbox for turbo 5 speed the Serial Number Plate is attached to the right hand side of the transmission clutch housing at approximately 3 o'clock
the numbers should go somethinf like this *******
where as the numbers on a MF5 go like this *******/**
