Everyone knows that the genuine accessory carpet sets from Holden are pretty pricey. They have the special grommet holes in them which attach to the rubber "tits" (for want of a better word) already moulded into your car's carpeted floor.

Well, if you are short of ready cash and just want to get a cheaper set of carpet mats (because you wear carpets out quite quickly) then the answer is simple. Measure the distance between the "tits" on the floor of your car. Buy a set of cheap mats from somewhere like Kmart or the Reject Shop. turn the front mats over and use a texta to draw a line indicating the distance between the floor "tits". Get a centre punch and knock holes in the carpet mats to accommodate the "tits". Now if your centre punch hole is too small, no matter. Just use a boxcutter to cut some lines radiating out from the punch holes for about 5mm or so.

Bob's your uncle! Now the carpets will fit onto the "tits" and they won't move around just like the dealer fit genuine articles.
