G'day everyone,

Just wanted to ask how can I remove my VR's broken knock sensor please?
I have left handed drill bits that I picked up from Supercheap but they aren't helping at all
I've also tried to move it with a pair of pliers and it still won't come out, I have done everything I can and nothing happens
can someone please save me? Otherwise my car will get defected when I go for a blueslip or the other choice is to get rid of it

yea only 2 options for that sucker.

1. Ezi-out as Tonner says
2. Weld a nut onto the end of it real good and use the nut to get it off, if you can't weld any exhaust shop should be able to do it for you.

No other options i dont reckon

Another option is hammer and socket

And what's the socket going to grip? it basically looks like a round stud... no flats for a socket to grip at all.

Could always remove the knock sensor from the tune if all else fails, just listen for pinging.

Vice grips, im guessing that pic was taken before you tried using the "left handed drill bits" which im assuming are easy-outs.
