How to remove base back seat of 2017 SV6 Sportswagon

Can anyone assist with the above? I only want to tie seat covers together. I understand that it might just be a brute strength thing of lifting where the seat fastens in, but don't want to permanently wreck anything. There is nothing in the owners manual and forums mention 2 levers between base of the seat and carpet (which I can't find, plus this is for VE).
Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks

What? Grab the seat and “reef it” means use some force to pull on it.

This is correct (no comment on the 'reef' ). Done it a few times.
