can anyone tell me how to make sure a VY drivers side mirror is a memory mirror?

ive bought it in 2014 to replace my mirror on my VY calais which had a big crack in it, but i actually did not get around to paint it and install it before selling the car, so now i have no use for it and want to sell it, but want to make sure that it is a memory unit, when bought it was listed as Holden VY - VZ Calais RHS side mirror, turbine gray
cheers

AFAIK the memory function is controlled by a separate module, not the mirror. But there is a difference in the mirrors depending on whether it's heated or has auto dipping. The plug will have more pins if it has heating and auto dipping, 6 or 8 I think.

thank for the reply, just had a look, it has a 8 pin plug, but only has 3 pins wires are blue yellow and brown, wow after 6 year of thinking i received a memory one. i'm guessing i got ripped off, was listed as VY - VZ Calais memory mirror

It would be a memory mirror, but not heated or auto dipping.
