Just found a second hand center cap part NO: 92037666t it has a Holden Lion decal on it.

Any tips on removing the old Lion decal and installing a new HSV decal as I don't want to stuff it up.

Carefully with a razor blade,they're just glued on to the backing.

Yes as said carefully remove , clean lightly with acetone , silicone HSV cover/badge down
Genuine, they are rare as hens teeth and as expensive as fxxk and @Deuce has said the correct measurements .
If you find a decent HSV Cap but the base is crap/broken , any Holden cap from that time frame fits and as said swap/glue HSV cover onto the Holden /base wheel cap center.

OHH and no VT onwards = no fit!!!!!= different size.
Although can glue/ silicone onto the correct base and looks good.
Even VE onwards = see my ride thread.

Found a set of 4 New HSV VR VS genuine decals, Ebay. you are correct expensive as Fxxk, the center caps are near impossible to find too.
I think I will be like NORTI and hoard anything I can find, I already have the the original 304 out of my VS SS it has only done 63000 KLM stored in my garage.

Also I have two VR GTS genuine rear spoilers which I have had for years.

For the ridiculous price of genuine caps, you could probably find a tame machinist to knock up a set in billet alloy.
