ah, just everyone been changing their minds :(

well gettign in on the dyno first to see how she goes, then moving the air semp, and then if she needs a touch up so be it :)

Moving the air temp sensor wouldnt do much if anything, as long as its tuned in the position its in. The air going into the engine wont change either way.

Ill probably see you there tomorrow, all i have to do left is change my wheels back , give it a once over checking everything.

Just gave the diff a service (1st time ever) and fitted a vy sender unit and a new walbro pump.

Moving the air sensor as close as possible to the TB will be the best option as then it is reading a closer intake temp.

had my car tuned on E85 and ended up with 284rwkw after strapping it down harder. The first few runs were around 299rwkw but were climbing the rollers a little.

finished the weekend @ heathcote with a 12.0 @ 115 and had multiple runs in the 12.1's @118/119 mph.

Yeah a fair few mate, i was even surprised myself. Just cant wait to get rid of my 3.07 diff gears and get some decent gears now.

I easily won my first elim run but then red lighted against Adrian on the 2nd elim with a .396 reaction light after hitting .41's all day :( Thats the pressure of racing

Over a year since i updated this thread lol


Well, i got defected July last year and only just got it back on the road now.

Pulled the whole driveline out in the process, new diff, tailshaft etc.

I pulled the engine apart myself and fitted all new gaskets, sump, rear main, front cover, fitted an ASR windage tray and baffles, LS6 valley cover PCV system, ARP rod bolts etc etc. Chucked in a stock cam for regency.
