I just washed and polished my car yesterday with the same 2 kitten products mentioned in the first post.
Car came up beautiful however my paint work is in a near new condition.
I'd still recommend trying a good quality cut and polish but a respray would be ideal (and expensive)

Nah can get respray relativly cheep but I want to find out from my mate how much to have the rust removed because I am planning on this car being a long term project.

dude.. i wouldnt bother till you fix that rust.. the dirt will actually protect it from rusting more...
