Yay finally gettin the ss back on friday there was water in the intake manifold but did not make its way to the sump thank god put all new carpet in her so should be free from smell and fixed the front bumper that the towie ripped off.

Good to hear that you are getting it back and that it wasn't a write off. Good lesson to others in a similar situation - don't risk it!

umm, I would have rathered it be a write off.

all the wiring has gotten wet, the water will seep in the ends of the cables where the connectors are, and in a few years time, the copper will have corroded so badly that things will just fail.

i just went thru a flooded road 5 minutes ago i gained speed at 80km/h and hit it and bang! i suddenly stop lol, my stuff from the seat flew on the ground, then i put it in 1st gear and went thru it easy hahaha was so fun.

why is that? done it like 7 times. I went thru it with my crappy hyundai, i would never do it to my holden.
