Pretty easy if they're the same as on a VN. You just unscrew the plastic cowling from around the top of the steering column and remove it, then you will be able to see the stalk. It just clips in to the steering column with two clips. Unclip these and then remove the electrical plug from it. Plug your new stalk in, clip it back into the column, replace the cowl and away you go. Les than 10 minutes work even if you're not too sure what you need to do!

With the VP one, am I right in thinking that you have to move some of the pins round so they will fit into the wiring plug and work ok?

Thank you for this thread

Changed my sloppy indicator stalk thanks to this thread. When I realised i didnt have to remove the steering wheel, i was up in there and finished faster than a rat up a drain pipe.
Cheers guys for the helpful informative, and very amusing forum

Oooops, sheepishly admits to it just being a replacement VP unit from my spare car. I was convinced this job was gonna require removal of the steering wheel, so i put it off. Just wanted to thank someone out loud, cause now my indicators work properly
