Did they check the engine number to clarify its a carby bottom end? You running a cat? So they didnt mind that you used a block which is older then the car? Alot of people say ya cant use a motor thats older then the car. One of my vk's is legally rego'd with a red 253 lol.

Yeah I'm running cats and all the emissions it's basically set up the same as a vn block just it's red. And yeah they checked the number, I also rang them before I put the engine in and they said its fine just bring it down when I'm ready. Would all depend what blue slip place you go to I spose
