I had a digital TV receiver in one of my previous cars, and the biggest issue I found was that it's damn near impossible to get a decent signal while parked, let alone while moving.

I tried countless different antennas and the best I ever got was one channel at a time, which was dependent entirely on where I was.

I gave up in the end and just switched to DVDs and USB sticks filled with media.
