Installing a Vy model strut bar on a earlier model Commodore

I can liink anyone to getting one of these Strut braces for $50 brand new from Holden in a box..

i know this thread is from 08, but can you still pick up these braces for $50 at holden?

if you buy one to suit a vr/s its just a matter of bolting it onto the baring plate bolts, there is like 8 each side and you only need to undo 2 or 4 either side.

where are yous finding these strut bars i just went to a wreckers with an odd 25 vy's in front of me and not one has a strut bar, do they not come stock or do they only come stock in the ss's or something?

Yes you can do this on any VT/VX from a poverty pack to a HSV GTS.
If you dont have a Holden dealer or don`t like going to Holden you can get the braces on EGAY like here...
