Hi guys just a new owner of commodore!
I am very excited with it and I do want to actually install an exhaust for my car

"Custom made, muffler delete, 2.5 inch straight though with 3inch twin tips and still got cat converters"
Is this legal for a V6 Commodore P Plate owner?

Cheers!

Technically, I don't think that is legal for any Commodore, regardless of who is driving. I'm pretty sure you need mufflers to comply with regulations.
And without mufflers and with 2.5 inch pipe, that's gonna be loud... but in a bad way.

I agree, I have 2.5" and mufflers on my V8 - yeah it's decently loud.

Had a vx.. Ran 2 1/4 outlet headers into Y piece into 200cpi 2 1/2 high flow cat into single 2.5" centre pipe with muffler into 2.5" straight through rear pipe with 3" twin tip.

Was loud for a 6. Sounded tough and meaty, didn't have a sporty note though. Droned a lot but I didn't mind it.
(Can't drive around quietly at night anywhere... Makes too much noise)

As I look back on my old vx... To me it sounded perfect I loved every second of it and wish I never had to give it up.. (Indian cab drivers!!!!!!!)

The abruptly loud drone as it revved out in the auto slug box. The crackling of downshifting in towing gears. The idle.. The filthy look I copped from older civilians.

Rip vx
