Installing Mobile phone into VX

Hi,

My father has a VX SS and wants me to put a Nokia phone into it. Does anyone know what the four wires in the mobile phone plug are for?

There are four wires.

Black & Green
Yellow
Yellow & Black
Orange & Black

Use a multimeter.
Black is Earth
The other three I cant remember. But, if you use a multimeter or a test light, one will have power on it constantly, one will have power when the car is switched to accessories and the other will seem as if it does nothing. If your using am ultimeter it may very well read 4+ Volts. This wire is your radio mute wire.

Yes that is it. Works like a charm. Be good if you could wire the phone through the cars audio.
