hi all

on my 06 VZ 175 exec,

i have an annoying ticking sound when the wipers are set to intermittent... the sound is coming from under the steering wheel, in the foot well area (fuse box?)... the sound "ticks" when the wipers go up and then it ticks again when the wipers return to the horizontal position (sort of like indicator ticks)... it does not happen when the wipers are set to 1 or 2...

any hints? a dodgey relay switch? how can i fix?...

also, how hard do i have to pull on the hinged panel/moulding to get to the fusebox? are there any screws or plugs to remove first? i cant seem to get the panel to budge when pulling from near the steering wheel height/rake lever....

any help much appreciated....

The ticking sound you hear is probably the wiper
relay in the BCM cycling on and off which is normal.

The cabin fuse compartment is hinged at the
bottom. To open grasp the cover at the top
near s/wheel column and swing down.

mine does the same thing, but it's not that noticeable. I've always just accepted it as "the norm"..?
