It happens when new phones run newer Bluetooth protocols. I know the FG had 3 different Bluetooth moduels over it's life.

No problems using my iPhone 6. It connected via Bluetooth first go and handsfree and Bluetooth music works fine.

Works now - not sure what caused it, but no problems since Sunday.

And the counter argument to that is to simply make every newer bluetooth device backwards compatible with older versions of bluetooth.

Make sure you turn on notifications under settings/bluetooth/my devices/Mylink/show notifications.

My 2013 Redline keeps redialling my wife's mobile every time the 6plus connects to mylink via Bluetooth. I'm assuming at some stage a firmware upgrade to mylink will fix that.
