So if you dont have any of these issues 'yet', but want the update.... can you report one of these issues anyway and get it updated for free? (while still in warranty)

Update takes up to an hour or so depending on whether you have SatNav or not and network speeds.

UFO, maybe or they may need to reproduce the fault to verify it.

I had the update done on Thursday. I had been getting 1, 6, 13, 14 and 17, amongst other issues. Since the update I have experienced 13, 14 and 17.

It hasn't fixed anything.

The guys at Holden probably couldn't work out how to update it, but said they did.

I believe they will only do the update if you are experiencing one of the above problems. I think the reason might be that installing the update for no reason is not recommended because the update may create its own bugs. I am only guessing because I know of a lot of people that had their IQ stuff up after the first upgrade eventough it was fine before the update.

Most likely Holden has taken this ad hoc approach based purely on cost.
