Hey guys,

One of my outer diff CV boots needs changing but I'm a bit unsure how to go about it. Anyone know an easy way?

Cheers

Is it just a matter of undoing the 8mm(?) hex bolts, cutting the old boot away and removing a C clip and sliding the CV joint off the drive shaft?

That's basically what the Gregorys manual says....so in my books that would be the course I'd take. Pretty hard to damage anything as long as you take your time.

I just take the entire shaft out (all the allen bolts) then undo the clips repack the bearings with the new boot on and put it back in the car. It's very easy

I'm told they are a breeze with a 400mm length of waterpipe.
