IRS VS Exhaust

how do i find out which car my mums is? its a VS and according to the wreckers there are two types of mufflers and i need to work out which one i have

Look under the rear of the car, if the exhaust goes under the axle, it's IRS, if it goes over the axle, it's live.

Look underneath ur car, if its one single piece alxe, its live, if the diff and axles are seperate then its IRS
