Is a camber kit needed?

hi all i recently bought springs for my wh and am about to put em in. they will lower the car about 1 1/2 inches. will i need a cambet kit? as the guy i bought them off said i only will need the kit if i go lower then 2 inches?? is this true??

You are best to ask a suspension specialist, eg; Pedders.
It's better to spend the extra while the car is up and everything is in pieces but, don't be a tight arse for the sake of safety for yourself and your car.:driving:

hmmmm.... maybe you'll need a kit.. cos you'll need another full 4 wheels alignment and the rear axcles have to be set somehow to have 1 to 1.5 mm of free play ot the diff bearings will get pushed in... that can be nasty stuff... you might need shorter shocks to stop the lowered springs from falling out if the rear of the car rises a bit over humps or gets airborne having the rear wheels in the air... nasty stuff having rar spring fall out...
