Depends on what year model you are looking at.. the last ones had the 6.0L in them.. The first VZ's in 04 only had minimal differenses from the VY. The 05/06 VZ's had climate and leather. My SSZ got bluetooth/ reverse sensors PBL Brakes and CV8 Wheels, Leather ect.....

As has been said already, get one of the later VZ SS's, or a VE SSV

I like the VYSS, around the 22k price, I have seen a few with 50,000Kms and 6 speed manual. Pretty much same as the VZSS. I'd prefer the SSZ or the VZSS 6.0L version.

vz ss 6.0
Maybe a little late to join thread, but I just brought myself a 06 VZ SS 6.0 ltr. I got it for $37, 990, 11,000kms. Leather, monaro rims, auto. The yard put a 2.5 catback exhaust and lowered 2inches..
I'm still in the honeymoon period but I cant stop driving it.
She ran a 13.8 at the Motor Plex with baby seat, towbar full boot and full fuel. great bang for buck and with the money I saved on not buying A VE is going on getting her to 11's..
So Go for it...
