Howard had plans for a filter - difference was is was optional.

Conroy just about branded everyone that doesn't support the filter as kiddy fiddlers.

Conroy is more of a fundamentalist religious nutjob than Abbott.

It should be optional. Give people some way of being able to turn it on and off that isnt accesible to the kids. I personally like internet porn LOL and dont want some politician telling me what I can and cant view on the net, I am old enough to filter my own content and the computer is in the lounge room so i can see what my young bloke is doing when he is on the net.

get out of their lazy boy recliner and go outside then become burnt to a crisp by all that natural sunlight LOL

We looked at a house before we bought our current house and when we went in there was this big fat guy in a lazy bor recliner with a table that had been modified to come up and over his lap with wheels on it and a special spot for the computer cpu box and then a nice big flat screen in front of him, all the curtains drawn and a box of junk food next to him, i dont think he ever left the house, but it really made the house viewing that much more memorable, needless to say we didnt buy the house LOL
