I've gone and done it.

Bought another engine and had it delivered straight to Decicrate.

This one will have a 400rwhp target minimum, run E85 with 80lb injectors, have a second tune for premium and be a genuine street engine.

Lotsa parts ex ZZP to follow, should have it finished before christmas, will utilise my existing Raptor, and probably end up with W2A intercooling if my wallett doesn't explode.

Off to a good start though. 140835 km old block with UIM & LIM, less alternator and power con pump for $475 ex Bi Right wreckers in Brisbane.

Next step is probably for Decicrate to check the bore and advise what pistons to get size wise, other than Diamond Forged L67 9:5 to one with 1" wrist pins

Hmm... 1" wrist pins are actually 0.905" wrist pins...Maybe the 1" number is the bore size

Nah. 2 tunes is 5 minute change over between. Not a big hassle for the weekend warrior vehicle now. Better than forking out for a new ECU.
