Just because a government proceeds or doesn’t proceed with something has nothing to do with if it’s a good idea or not.

Plenty of good ideas die because some lobby group doesn’t want it and plenty of shite ideas get foisted on the public for the same reason!

Canada has the advantage of being involved in nuclear power pretty much from the beginning. Did you know Jimmy Carter worked at one of the early Canadian reactors?
