pins are in the hinges were that stuffed i couldnt close bonnet they do look a bit gay but once i get my scoop moulded to the bonnet all paints the pins so there not chrome

well i was inpressed in the little 5 ltr on sunday i was only expecting to pull a 10.5-11 sec pass but i ended up in the 9.5-10 second bracket at the start of day i was running 18 inch mags on front stockies on back and i had a ball wheel spinning every were then i put the 18's on the rear because they have new tires and still had wheel spin and done a good burnout ended up doing a P.B of 9.77 second pass (with little wheel spin) i was up againstanother vn 5 ltr that has had bit over 20K spent on motor to suit a blower and i ran 1 tenth of a second slower
then came the burnout comp well i tried dont about a 3 and half min burnout hit rev limiter few times wasnt planning on doing that but was fun blew one tire then got bit hot and firey under the bonnet
got it home had a look today and engine bay was coverd in engine oil from coming out the brether not a bad effort tho for a 16 year old i'd say

after burnout comp was bit diserpointed i didnt wreck paint to much

temp gauge about 30-40 mins afte my burnout LOL think i got a bit hot

rubber wrapped around my diff LOL

bit of engine oil and coolest mmm loks like yummy soup

$585 worth of tyre ($195 each tire) i dont like new tires so i fixed that

haha they were one that were going to go on my "street car" that ended up race car haha i found some were i can get $70 ones now for burnout coz i race on my 18's

got sick of the grayish bumpers so painted them black while the sun was out makes it look a heap cleaner will post pics in few days when my phone plan starts a new month as ive gone over my data limit.... does any one look at this thread? should i post pics?
