Just bought a dashcam!

Blow me down! Aye simple t' leave iPhone logging on most trips, get a decent RAM mount - iPhone will nah jus' log video but the car's blackbox via OBD.
Better at everything but security camera... Yo ho ho an' a bottle o' rum!

Have been thinking of getting one of these but don't like the idea of a bulky item cluttering the windscreen and being easily visable. Was wondering if there is such a thing where the camera in on a long seperate leed and can be placed where ever, back of rear vision mirror or across roofline on interior of car, with the recording part of the device in your glovebox or under the dash, somewhere easily accessable.

Plenty of units that can be mounted behind the rear view mirror so you dont even notice it, i have a Blackvue dash cam and when driving cant even see it.

Who wants the hassle of putting a phone into the mount, starting the program, stopping it, taking it out if the mount, rinse and repeat.

Dash cam you put in once and forget about it until you need the footage.

I picked up an Itronics ITB-100HD not long ago. Pretty clear with lots of features.

Full HD
GPS logging
Parking mode

Is there an app for your iphone/android that records video with your speed displayed on it?

Yeah it can record in HD or VGA or from a remotely mounted GoPro using wifi, renders a graph/meter of any PID from the OBDII port via bluetooth.

So I just got the mivue358 and they were too tight to give me a usb to connect it to the pc. anyone know where I can get one or is just an ebay generic one?
