So, spent about 2 hours on the side of the monash last night with what I'm told is a buggered water pump centre bearing.

Being that I will need the car asap, can I replace it myself with basic tools and limited knowledge, or am I better off just letting "the guy" do it for me.

IF I should get it to a "guy", who is recommended not too far from Oakleigh, and how much are they likely to sting me for it?

Car is a VS ecotec for what it's worth

Just found Mortons guide, and one written by classified calais, so I'll have a crack at it tonight. I had in my head that it was a big job

Finally about to get my hands on a water pump.
Holden wanted over $100, Bursons wanted $98, Repco wanted $80-something, and Autobarn wanted $68. Didn't ring supercheap because its a bit far to get to without a car
