K&N 63-3072 Review

Hi guys,
im considering picking up this intake for my 08 sv6 and i know a ew people on here have the unit. My question is would you reccomend it to others? Did you notice anything after instalation? Any feed back at all wound be appreciated. of if anyone elese has been looking at this CAI and have found anything interesting also please share? Thanks Nathan

i looked at it and went for airhammer , read a few reviews on airhammer and that swayed me

The air hammer gets wet though. and in turn restricts the filters ability to draw in air

Another thing are these legal in NSW as the pod is exposed?

not legal but have a cover that encloses it in to a box type set up so it doesnt glare at you in the face has somewhat of a factory look

Is that the k&n or the airhammer or both the k&n seem to just have a shroud

Is the air hammer pod filter oiled? Or does that not make in difference in NSW? Personally from what I have read go the air hammer and it's a popular choice among modders here.

I had the airhammer but sold it once I saw it was getting wet, so I'm just after some opinions on the k&n unit
