Hey guys....I'm not quite a full bottle on the subject, but does Kalmaker work for the VZ 6's ???

Also, people are going on about the 190 Vs. the 175.....I was under the assumption that the only hold back on the 2 engines was an ECU thing.....surely GM wouldn't put engineering into 3 engines ??? Am I wrong in thinking so ???

Cheers,
Kilmo

www.kalmaker.com.au should answer that for you :)

as for the V6's differences ....

the 175 motor has variable cam timing on the intake cams only, whereas the 190 ALSO has it on the exhaust cams.

Intake Manfiold:
Dual-plenum, equal-length with two-position variable volume control and resonance tuned (190)
Dual-plenum, equal-length with tuned plenum communication orifice (175)

the 190 is also the only motor that has the 5 speed automatic with active select (paddles on the steering wheel) all 175 models (i believe all) have the 4 speed auto (4L60E)

both motors can have the 6 speed D173 manual gearbox.

i hope all this information is 100% correct.
