Keys in the boot, car is locked... HELP.

Locked my keys in the boot of my VX Acclaim sedan like a rookie and the car is locked.

What are my options? Im resorting to breaking 1 of the small quarter glasses..

- dont have a spare
- not with RACQ

Im happy to break the quarter glass to get in.. unless there's a more efficient way to unlock the car?

Not sure if this is true, but i believe its cheaper to replace one of the main door windows, rather that the quarter pieces.

brake the quarter glass,go to a wrecker buy a new one for 25buks,(though if your car is dead locked your buttons won't come up)
very easy to fit,move the rubber undo 2 screws,good luck.

punch in a screw driver in the boot lock and open it.. or break your quarter

Ok so after some research my car IS DEADLOCKED.. according to an NRMA VX series 2 commodore revew..

"A rolling code engine immobiliser, remote central locking with deadlocking and driver's door only unlocking, plus an alarm are standard."

So im better off breaking the front passneger window yeah?

Do we really want to tell some one the best way to break into a car. Legit or not. Call a mobile locksmith.

its only deadlocked if you deadlocked it yourself. the deadlock feature is double tapping the lock button or turning the key in the door further aroudn than normal from memory.

Smash window, climb through window and get keys out of boot. Not hard.

Well a mate sold me a spare vx right rear passenger window for $30 so i will break that one and crawl into the boot through the back seats to get these keys.. such a ### around but that's what happends when you make a rookie mistake..

So my next topic end of the week will be how to install that window lol
