Alright
I want to put a line into my fuel pump to deter joggers/degenerates/hotrod enthusiasts
But there's no fuse there?!
DIY ideas from any mates with experience

I'm wanting to use the fuel pump relay. And I have a wagon.

What are you chasing? You have been told where the fuse is....Are you wanting to put another fuse in to the relay, or put another relay in....

Seems it maybe out of your skillset and is going to cause you more headaches if you attempt it...So best get an auto sparkie to do something

he wants to put a normally open switch in the fuel pump circuit I think. Find the wiring diagram and work out where your going to cut into the wire. See why I say its a waste of time . One day the driver will have a brain fart and leave the switch off and wonder why the car wont start.

Just a tip… if the VE is similar to the VF (I assume it is), the fuel pump wiring between the fuel pump control module and the pump itself is shielded wiring. If cutting in to that wiring, it is advisable to make sure the extra wiring (or whatever) is also shielded too. There is fairly high frequency switching on this wiring and it has the potential to interfere with any nearby cabling and wiring (which is why it is shielded in the first place).

Breaking the supply to the fuel pump control module itself (rather than the wiring between the fuel pump control module and the pump) is simpler and less critical.
