I know there was a small dint on the panel but its alot bigger now and more pushed in and then theres the scratch... the daytime photo was taken before it was sent to the mechanics... it might also be a coincidence but the same day I got my car back the door on the passenger side stopped opening and is like its locked but when we pulled up the lock the back doors opened but the front still wouldnt... Im not really fussed about the damage done to it but I wanted to know what actually happened to my car.

Agree^^^ you get lots of looks coz they look great but book yourself in for a spine transplant lol plus you have to be super careful with them so they don't develop cracks or buckles defeats the purpose of having an 8.

While I was at a friends place today I parked my car on the street in front of her house and the neighbour across the road reversed her car into it :/ goes to smash repairs in the morning to assess the damage :(

lol, sorry Hozy, but I hate them almost as much as I hated the guy I saw today driving a Rodeo with a Chev Badge...

I'm not sure on the rules in Victoria, but they are illegal in NSW.

http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/registration/downloads/vsi/vsi29_rev1.pdf

Permanently fixed covers are not permitted. Covers with slots or holes in them are not permitted
either, because they drastically reduce lighting efficiency.

Most other sorts of covers are permitted though.

And yeah, 19's are plenty on a VT.

Tinted ones yes, normal headlight covers NO

Looking at the pics above, looks like damage was there in original pic.

Um but what happened with the neighbours car? Whats the damage now?

Poor car, doesnt deserve the abuse lol

Damage to rear quarter panel and rear driver side door.. Rear panel has been pushed in so it looks like the door is poking out and another dint just above that, door doesnt open and close properly because of it being out of alignment and the usual paint being messed up... The quote of smash repairs was $1200 so hopefully should be fixed soon..
