You're entitled to an opinion like the rest of us mate.

On the same token I doubt it takes springs 12 months to settle :)

No worries mate, all good here.

I respect your views that you share on the board.

Cheers.

lol @ 12 months waiting time....seriously f**k waiting for that....

if you want more low...get them changed

back in my lowering days when i had my calais i went through 4 different sets of springs (in a week) till i found the right height and it stayed like it too (tucking the 20'' rim **not tyre**)

if your not happy go back and swap them over

now that im older and wiser (22yrs :p) its Fe2 and staying like it

I took a few pictures of the car when I first got it home after purchasing.
I'll take some more in the next few days when it stops raining, and try and do it from the same angles for good comparison.

I still reckon all new springs take a little time to settle regardless of brand, but I guess "pics or it didnt happen" rule applies :).
We arent talking inches here, it might only be 1cm... but still noticeable to the eye if you look carefully.
Anyway lets see. Give me a few days and I'll pop some pics up so we can see if I'm either getting old and senile, or there's some truth to all of this.
Stay tuned....

factory rubber bushes have torsional stiffness which can hold the car up after installing lowered coils, to acheive correct ride height the bushes should be undone and retightened when the car is on the ground at ride height. i have seen cars come down as much as 15mm when the bushes are reset. ve's would have to be the worst commodores for this, ba-bf falcons are bad for this too.
if all the bushes were reset at ride height it might settle 5mm, if the bushes wernt reset, they will fail over time and tear the rubber away from the crush tube of the bush and allow the car to come down more.
