Hey guys basicly bought this car months ago and havnt driven it due to loss of license but when i do move it or take it for a test run up the street and back when turning left or right whether it is at a T intersection or a round about there is a loudish knoc noise down near the passenger side wheel and for the life of me can't understand what it is...

For all your information and references, I have done in the front end

New Control Arms and bushes x2
2x caster bushes
Gt monro short shocks
Sl springs
Strut top mounts x2

Sway bar link of passenger side is aftermarket while drivers side remains stock for time being

Front or back passenger side?
Could be a worn CV joint on the driveshaft.

If it clunks just once when you turn, its the trailing arm bush where it mounts into the front cross member.

if you have different rubbers on the swap bar it would put it out of alignment.

So, you take it for a test run while you don't have a licence???? I hope you have friendly neighbours, otherwise you will be serving extra time without a licence !!!

VX SS (Original owner).
I had brand new Genuine Holden sway bar/link pin rubbers fitted to my VX SS and one split after only 100 km resulting in a clunk/knock when turning, mechanic said he probably tightened it up a bit too much. May pay to check those again.
