Knocking sound from engine

hi guys just last night this knocking sound appeared from the engine just want to be sure on what it exactly is all my oil levels and everything is up to scratch my engine light also went on and says check drivetrain or powertrain cant really remember exactly on the message display screen on the dash.

someone said it can be the tappets in the head the sound does appear to be more from the top of engine seems like its coming from under the intake manifold that is how it sounds like it gets louder and faster when u accelerate.

We have the same problem with our 190 VZ v6 alloytec
