Hi guys, got the battery light coming on and staying on ...
Replaced the Alternator thinking it was that, has new Battery but changed it over to make sure (same)
Checked the wires and they seem ok
Terminals tight and clean.
New Starter
Cranks fine and starts fine just the red battery light on dash.

Where to next?

Use a multimeter and start checking for voltage drops between

Earth points and battery
Main feed from alt to battery.

Resistance between above as well. This will give some idea on condition of cabling.

You can also do tests to ensure the alt is putting out enough charge.

Also the sense wire from alt to battery.

first determine if your alternator is charging 13.5v to 14.5v approximately
then go from there

Yep check that it is actually charging battery? Also load sense wire?

Last resort would be bad earth somewhere and backfeeding through globe or something weird so first check usual suspects also correct alternator rating...can get caught out by that too.

Also the sense wire from alt to battery.
This ^^^ the alt fuse would be my first guess. Give it a little tug and see if it holds tight. Also check it for corrosion.
