Raptor charged vp v6 manual
Hey guys i have a slight problem i have l67 injectors in my supercharged vp and it started to get a slight idle problem and a vac leak and i found it to be 2 injectors i pulled them out to find 2 of the injector oring retainers had fallen out with the orings still hanging in
There i was wondering if i can run the injectors without having the retainers on them and have the new orings just sitting on the injector? A local mechanic said the retainers are just there to help put the injectors in and i dont need them but what stops the oring from falling into the valve?

it's called a pintle cap and yes it's purpose is to retain the oring, without it there's a small chance the oring will end up making a journey through the engine and out the exhaust.
